Actor Jonah Hill has reached the heaviest that he has been in his entire life. The National Enquirer reported that his closest friends fear for his life.

A friend close to the Academy Award nominee told the Enquirer that Hill is "eating again with reckless abandon" while further adding, "He is a brilliant comedic actor with decades ahead of him, but he has to get a handle on his health before he faces deadly consequences."

In 2011, Hill's co-star in "Moneyball", Brad Pitt, encouraged him to drop some pounds during their filming; consequently, the actor went from a 250-pound full physique to a 210-pound lean form.  He claimed that losing some weight was a sign of "maturity" and helped him in being taken seriously.

However, in the past year and in more recent months, Hill has been "ballooning out of control" and struggling with the bulge. This August, the actor was spotted and snapped several times while grabbing a quick snack after a workout and taking his dog for a walk in Los Angeles.

In 2013, the actor took on a diet filled with protein but short of carbohydrates, leaving him with "meat mouth." Hill also claimed that one of the secrets in dropping some pounds was consuming a diet comprised mainly of Japanese food.

Hill stepped into the spotlight in 2005 when he was featured in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up", both by Judd Apatow. Later on, he snagged a leading role in "Superbad" wherein he took on the character of an affable and overweight high-school student.

After the success of "21 Jump Street", the actor further achieved greater popularity after getting back to his role as Morton Schmidt in the film's sequel, "22 Jump Street". The movie recently bagged several awards from the Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Summer Movie.
