On March 3, Li demonstrated his amazing ability to lift 24 wooden benches only with his teeth. The stacked benches weighed a total of 75 kilos. Li managed to hold the benches in the air for 10 seconds.

Li beat the record for the same feat he set four years ago. In February 2012, he held 23 wooden benches weighing 70 kilos for 11 seconds, beating the previous record of 14 benches.

But a lot of sweat has been dedicated to the stunt. People's Daily reported that Li runs three kilometers and chews ice cubes and olives every day. To practice his teeth further, he visits the park daily to lift around 20 benches.

Li started out with lion dancing when he was only eight years old. To spice up his acts, he practiced lifting heavy objects with his teeth, starting with ladders, bamboo poles, and benches.

When lifting wooden chairs was still new to him, Li sustained 18 stitches on his lower lip after trying to balance 12 benches for the first time.

Li has already taught about five students how to perform his record-breaking stunt, visiting different cities to perform and showcase his talent. Thanks to extensive local and international media coverage, Li has now established his own media company and sometimes teaches martial arts classes for free.
