The 'Bangerz' concert tour which is set to have a performance in the Dominican Republic has been banned due to moral grounds.
It has been more than a year since Cyrus infamously started the twerking fever as well as her concert tour. Due to this, the provocative show is said to be undertaking acts which go against the morals and customs of the Dominican Republic. A representative of the country said that this is punishable by law.

The representative gave out the statement which was from the commission in-charge of overseeing public performances wherever in the Caribbean nation. Cryus' camp has not released their statement about this unfortunate incident yet. The organizers of the concert also have not commented on the recent news about the performance being banned in their capital.
The commission which banned the concert does not only oversee performances but also songs which might be too vulgar.
The supposed performance at the Dominican Republic was set on the 13th of September this year. It has been reported that the tickets for the concert have been on sale since July and the price ranged from US$27 to US$370.
Cyrus' performance in the VMAs last year has been declared as vulgar by the critics. Crotch-grabbing, showing too much meat, twerking and the use of paraphernalia such as foam fingers have been considered unrefined.
For the VMA performance this year, Cyrus has been announced to once again grace the VMA stage. No word yet on what song she will be performing since she has been releasing hit after hit after hit. The former Disney star is one of the most-anticipated performer this coming Sunday and people have been guessing what she will do on stage.
Other singers such as Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Gwen Stefani, Maroon 5 and a whole lot more are said to be having their own productions for the much-awaited event.
