A survey conducted jointly by the China Youth Daily and wenjuan.com showed that majority of Chinese people are confident that Chinese culture will become globally popular.
The survey, which involved 2,000 Chinese people, found out that about 74 percent of the respondents believe that China's culture will appear to a wider, global audience.

The respondents were composed of post-1980s generation, which accounted for nearly half of those surveyed, and 23 percent born after 1990, the official Xinhua news agency has reported.
The report, however, did not mention how many of the respondents were male or female as well as their locations when the survey was conducted.
Chinese Designs and Patterns
According to the survey result released on Tuesday, more than half of the respondents said the world will soon be attracted to Chinese culture, especially in the Chinese characters, designs and patterns, and traditional costumes.
The China Youth Daily also reported that about 83 percent of those who answered the survey expressed their inclination to products that carry traditional Chinese elements.
However, a majority 78 percent of the respondents claimed that Chinese culture is reserved and diversified, with some questioning how international brands use Chinese elements in their marketing campaigns.
Chinese Colors - Red and Yellow
In terms of cultural colors, only 33 percent of the respondents insisted that Chinese culture is represented by bright red and yellow elements. The two colors, however, have long been promoted by many Chinese designers at home and abroad, the Xinhua report added.
China has long been considered as having the most well-preserved culture in the world, with manuscripts and historical objects dating back thousands of years.
