The tweeted leak showed front and back views of the Moto X successor with one of them revealing a Verizon brand, particularly the one made with a wooden back.

It is the best set of leaked Moto X+1 photos compared to the previous leaks shared online. It further revealed the front panels packed with dual speaker grills, similar to that of the Moto E. Its rear camera can be found on top of the company logo and has a dual LED flash.

As for the Moto X+1 release date, there have been no confirmations made about it yet by Motorola officials except that they handed out invites for a September 4 IFA event. According to PC Advisor, the event will reveal two smartphones with one of them marked with an X. It will also be the event that will show off their smartwatch called the Moto 360 along with a Bluetooth headset.

Motorola mentioned at the Mobile World Congress that the Moto X+1 will allegedly launch during the later part of summer.

The latest benchmark report made of the Moto X+1's performance test made details of the device having a 5.2-inch screen, a 12MP camera with a 1080p display. This goes the same for the leaked details of a Brazilian retailer saying that the Moto X+1 will feature an HD display at the five-inch mark, a 2GB RAM, 13MP front camera, a 16GB internal storage, 2.2 GHz Quad core processor and the Android 4.4.4 version.
