Former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre issued a statement saying how he would not return to fighting until stricter drug testing is implemented for his future fights.
GSP's most recent Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) bout was against present welterweight champion, Johny Hendricks.

As GSP struggled through five rounds to come up with a decision victory, he had called for WADA testing against his opponent, but ultimately came out short. After the win, he retired from MMA,
While he has cited several reasons for his retirement, including his obsessive-compulsive disorder, the need for a break, and the loss of his competitive drive, chief among them was the rampant use of performance enhancing drugs in the sport.
GSP said that his actions reflected the way he wanted to help his fellow athletes who are honest and works hard.
"If we want the sport to be accepted worldwide, like baseball, hockey, football, soccer, I believe [drug testing] is the thing to do," GSP said. "I think it's just a matter of time before it happens, it's just that I tried to make it happen now."
As of late, numerous fighters have been identified as taking PEDs. Fighters include the American Gangster Chael Sonnen, Wanderlei Silva, and Vitor Belfort who is challenging for the middleweight championship next December.
While Belfort has been suspended and reinstated, GSP offers no negative comments towards his former training partner and says that if he gets a title shot under a certain set of rules then he is happy for the challenger.
The UFC has begun to take notice of fighters on PEDs, however, they have not crafted a full-time policy regarding performance-enhancing drugs.
Cung Le, with a fight coming up tomorrow against Michael Bisping, has been the most recent fighter caught up in the controversy with random drug tests done by the UFC themselves.
Although the UFC is doing their best to address the problem, some think it is enough. Fighters have proposed an association or union, with GSP at the head of it that can help clean up the sport.
