CBA Quarterfinal Round 2: Liaoning Flying Leopards Demolish Zhejiang Golden Bulls, Lead Series 2-0

(Photo : gettyimages.com) Former Boston Celtics player Shavlik Randolph registered another double-double game night of 25 points and 12 rebounds with 4 assists as Liaoning Flying Tigers registered a victory over Zhejiang Golden Bulls.

League's top team Liaoning  Flying Leopards smashed the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the second game of their quarterfinal series on Wednesday with a 33-point margin lopsided 138-105 victory to lead 2-0 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league playoff round.

The Flying Leopards proved too good for the Golden Bulls as they dominated almost the entire game, outscoring Zhejiang in the first three quarters of the match to build a big lead of 40 points 111-71 going in to the final quarter of the game.

The Golden Bulls tried to make a comeback in the fourth quarter with a 34-27 run, but Liaoning was too tough to overcome.

Former Boston Celtics player Shavlik Randolph registered another double-double game night of 25 points and 12 rebounds with 4 assists, while  American reinforcement Lester Hudson topped all scorers with 30 points and 8 assists to bring the Flying leopards closer to the semifinal round of the league.

Chinese forward Li Xiaoxu and center Han Dejun finished the game scoring 16 points and 12 points respectively with Dejun grabbing 12 rebounds for Liaoning, while the Chinese hotshot shooting guard Guo Ailun scored 15 points to go along with 9 assists and 3 rebounds.

The CBA's no.1 ballclub displayed its dominance over the Yiwu, Jinhua, Zhejiang-based squad, Liaoning controlled and commanded the low post area, scoring 92 points of its total game output for the night, while Zhejiang was only limited to 70 points.

The Flying Leopards also outrebounded the Golden Bulls with a team combined of 48 boards compared to the 33 posted by the losing club; this includes the 31-16 advantage in the defensive rebounding of the winning side.
