Kim Kardashian is setting her sights on producing her own reality show entitled "Young Bosses".

"Young Bosses" will revolve around people who have managed to be successful entrepreneurs and executives at a young age. Surprisingly, Kardashian, known for her obvious love of self, doesn't seem to be part of the on-air talent.

But how will momager, Kris Jenner react to the news?

The 33-year old reality star has been on the family's show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" since 2007, but is said to be excited to try something else.

However, the new reality show Kardashian wants to produce won't be involving her mother, who is credited as a producer in KUWTK. Kardashian is reportedly ready to release herself from her mother's grip and do something that doesn't involve the family.

A source shared, "Kim has decided that it's time to begin a new career without being under the thumb of her mother. Kris built a reality TV empire, and now Kim is planning to do the same - without her mother."

Rumor has it that Kardashian's rapper-husband will be co-producing the reality show with her.

Despite a possible rift between Jenner and Kardashian, Jenner seems to be motherly enough to allow her children to do their own thing and support them during good times and bad.

As a matter of fact, Jenner was the only one from the Kardashian clan to have greeted her stepson, "The Hills" star Brody Jenner, during his birthday.

She took to Instagram to post a photo of her with her children and Brody, captioning it with "Happy Birthday @brodyjenner !!!! You are such an amazing man and I hope you have the most wonderful birthday ever!!!! I love you very much.....xoxo kris".

Kris Jenner got married to Brody's father, Olympian Bruce Jenner, in 1991 when Brody was only 8 years old.
