Charlie Sheen, surprise, has been having second thoughts about his latest engagement, in this case to former porn star Brett Rossi, according to reports.

Fresh off taking the ALS ice bucket challenge during which he dumped money, not ice, on his head before calling out Chuck Lorre, John Cryer and Ashton Kutcher, Sheen may be fresh out of nuptial enthusiasm, sources said.

The story to date: The 48-year-old former "Two and a Half Men" star now starring in his new TBS sitcom, "Anger Management," has not been pleased by Rossi, 25, turning into a "bridezilla" while banishing his party friends and parties from his estate. Now calling her his "ball and chain," not a good sign, Sheen has been going out nightly -- alone -- with his buds.

Rossi has been keeping close track of him with frequent cell phone contacts and messages. Her messages generally contain variations on a theme: Charlie, call home.

Wedding plans for the nuptials scheduled for Nov. 22 have become a source of controversy, too. Sheen wanted one of his buddies just starting out as a wedding planner to handle the social chores.

Sheen's party planning friend plans pooped, according to a Sheen associate speaking to tabloid reporters. The planner wasn't up to the over-the-top arrangements Rossi wanted, so she got rid of him. The couple is still casting for that role. Rossi wants a well-known celebrity wedding planner.

Rossi also reportedly insists Sheen wear a wedding band to show he is taken. That may become the deal-breaker as Sheen reportedly continues to hang around gal pals along with the guys further infuriating Rossi who views this as disrespectful.

Sheen pals report the sitcom star has been talking about breaking up due to the controlling soap opera drama. Pals are scratching their heads, wondering if a couple with so much pre-marriage baggage ever will make it down the aisle.
