#MWC16: 7 China-Made Gadgets Launched in Barcelona

Just after the Consumer Electronics Show last month, Chinese tech firms once again caught the attention of many spectators during the Mobile World Congress (WMC)in Barcelona, Spain. According to experts, an increasing number of tech companies from China are showcasing cutting-edge products and are more confident to launch in international markets.

Below is a sneak peek of the devices rolled out by Chinese firms at the MWC 2016.
ZTE lifted their curtains up to unveil a new portable smart projector called ZTE Spro Plus. It sports voice conference, touchscreen, projection and improved visual feature. With the ability to support external USB camera, the smart projector is perfect for multiple video conference via different applications like Skype. It has an 8.4-inch Android AMOLED display with 2K resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is equipped with 12,100 mAh battery.
On the other hand, TCL Communications presented its device-to-device (D2D) communications solutions in partnership with ASTRI. Using radio resources developed by the network, the D2D device permits mobile devices to directly communication with each other through radio resources.
Huawei also unveiled its 2-in-1 notebook and tablet MateBook - its first personal computer that is targeting the premium business market. The convertible tablet has a 12-inch pixel display and is light-weight - just about 640 grammes - with battery life reaching up to 10 hours on standard use.
Meanwhile, Lenovo has rolled out a fleet of devices including consumer laptop YOGA 710, which comes with an 11-inch and 14-inch displays and boasts of its ability to flex into four different modes. Convertible laptops YOGA 510 is a slimline overhaul from its previous models, making it handy. Ideapad MIIX 310, which now offers an optional 4G connectivity and VIBE K5 Plus, a 5-inch mobile device powered with Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor.
Gionee also unveiled its flagship device Gionee S8 powered by octa-core Media Tek Helio P10 processor, equipped with a 16- and 8-megapixel rear and front cameras, respectively. The phone comes with a non-expandable memory of 64 GB and non-removable battery of 3000 mAh.
Appliance maker Haier surprised its audience this year after unveiling a sleek smartwatch, which runs on Android Marshmallow. It displays a 400 x 400 resolution screen that is rich, vibrant and sharp, making it among the best smartwatches on the market.
And to wrap up the list, the Le Max Pro from LeEco (formerly LeTV) is the world's first Snapdragon 820 smartphone on the market. Le Max Pro's first sale was reportedly limited to 1,000 units, and instead of commercial models, engineering models were sold in a flash sale that started at 12 PM on Tuesday. It is also the first smartphone to feature the newest flagship chipset model from Qualcomm.
