It took Brazilian Rafael Dos Anjos a little over 150 seconds in the first round to silence the Tulsa crowd with a victory over number one contender, Benson Henderson.
Dos Anjos began his career a submission artist, fighting the best lightweight competition. After six years, he finally stepped into the main event spotlight opposite Henderson, and rose to the occasion by showcasing his improved striking abilities.

According the odds, and early on in the match, Henderson seemed to be the favorite. He used his muay thai and taekwondo skills to offer some instant offense.
However, Dos Anjos would always return what Henderson gave, blow by blow. Then, Henderson got rocked with a well-timed punch.
Retreating to the cage, Dos Anjos would land a flying knee that clearly put Henderson's light out, keeping to his feet only with his courage and heart.
Those did not save him though, as Dos Anjos landed a left right on his opponent's chin, folding him up. He followed-up on with some ground and pound and showed referee John McCarthy enough to stop the bout.
While there is a bit of controversy - as people think it was an early stoppage - Dos Anjos had won his first and only main event, earning US$50,000 for his performance of the night.
The previous bouts also featured fighters who garnered bonus awards due to their outstanding performances.
In the co-main event, Jordan Mein also made short work of perennial contender Mike Pyle. Mein faked a takedown and, catching Pyle unaware, showered punches on him to end the fight in just 72 seconds.
Thales Leites knocked out Francis Carmont in the second round, after Carmont won the opening round. Leites would deliver Carmont's third straight loss.
The final performance of the night went to Ben "Killa B" Saunders, who after a four year hiatus from the UFC, returned with an impressive victory.
Chris Heatherly took Saunders down early. Saunders' rubber guard proved too much for his opponent, setting up the opportunity for the first ever omoplata submission in the UFC.
