Facebook partnered with "Access Hollywood," a weekday television entertainment news program covering events and celebrities in the entertainment industry, to hand celebrities a large tablet computer to connect with the fans via the giant social network.
Fans need to go the Access Hollywood's Facebook page and shoot their questions to their favorite stars.
Celebrities need to shake the device just like Magic 8-ball to reveal the question. They can answer the questins while being filmed by a video camera.
The device handler will then edit the title and caption of the video response of the celebrity before posting it on Facebook.
iStrategyLabs is the company behind the interactive device t. It's a creative agency based in Washington, DC that wants to engage communities through innovative marketing, experimental uses of social media sites.
This is an effort by Facebook to encourage celebrities to post more content and engage with more fans on Facebook.
