Li, the man who tried to smuggle his pet turtle said, "There's no turtle in there, just a hamburger. There's nothing special to see inside," as he was being inspected by airport authorities.

The authorities know otherwise, the odd-looking hamburger is far different from the ordinary. Convinced that they need to know further, they insisted to look into the 'burger' more closely. True enough, the burger has limbs and shell similar to a turtle.
This happened last July 29, amidst the hectic schedule of the airport. Li was about to board in the China Southern Airlines flight 345 departing from Beijing when this incident happened. As per the Guangzhou Daily report, Li passed through the airport security as required by the airline. The x-ray machines did not show any suspicious items except for the odd-looking material.
The X-ray showed images of 'odd protrusions in Li's KFC burger that made authorities speculate about of what was inside.
Li finally admitted that case and uncovered the truth behind the burger. This is a desperate attempt to travel with his beloved pet. He said that the burger was his pet turtle, and he only wanted to bring his pet to his travels.
As the airport staff carefully explained the reasons why turtles are not allowed to be smuggled on the plane, Li agreed to allow his friend to be taken care of his beloved pet while he is traveling.
This may be an amusing to most people, but others did have a negative impression. One netizen exclaimed remarks that, "That poor turtle! It had to absorb all those X-rays!"
Others are amused by the story. One of them is Sina Weibo. She commented on the story and said that Li's affection for his pet was cute.
This story may be amusing to some, but it does gave airlines a more awareness of the products being traveled to different places. Li did not pass through the strict authorities, other illegal smuggling should also be filtered.
