Three possibly related shootings resulted to the death of three people in San Fernando Valley, which caused the police to classify these killings a 'major threat,' reports indicated on Sunday.

On Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported three separate shooting incidents that occurred earlier that day, stating that investigators are currently searching for two suspects.

The first incident happened at around 5:50 in the morning at Celis Street, where a young woman, 22, was found dead while four others were wounded, including the parents of the deceased.

After nearly 45 minutes, another report was received by the police this time at the Sylmar Recreational Center in Border Avenue, where a Hispanic man around 25 to 35 years old was fatally shot and declared dead on the spot.

Almost an hour after the second shooting, a third incident was reported at Fillmore Street, where a Hispanic middle-aged woman, 50 years old, was found dead allegedly due to a gunshot wound in her head.

All victims were identified as active church-goers with some even preparing to attend services when the unfortunate incident occurred.

LAPD described the same suspects for at least two of the three incidents. Police believe that the perpetrators are two Hispanic men who reportedly arrived and fled the scenes of the crime via a gold or tan SUV with tinted windows.

Police said that the incidents happened in "a similar manner."

"Both LAPD Robbery Homicide Division and L.A. (County) Sheriff's Department Homicide Division are working jointly on leads," LAPD Sgt. Frank Preciado stated, describing the suspects' escape vehicle to be a Tahoe, Suburban, or something similar.

He also explained that the shootings have been considered by authorities as a 'major threat'. They have been ordered to employ all of their resources to track down the suspects, as well as announced that they are currently soliciting for witness accounts of the crimes.
