After reports that Hong Kong actress Tavia Yeung and her boyfriend, actor Him Law, are moving in together, media speculation rose that her mother has reportedly disapproved of her daughter's plan and isn't the least bit pleased with the idea.
Actor Him Law was said to have moved in to Tavia Yeung and her mother's home for them to spend more time together, three years into their relationship. However, it was also reported that Tavia Yeung's mother wasn't pleased with the arrangement and disapproved to it.

In an effort to quell the tension between her mother and boyfriend, Tavia Yeung was said to have purchased a new house worth $7 million Hong Kong dollars and moved in there with Him Law.
According to an insider report, Mrs. Yeung was said to have questioned her daughter and actor boyfriend why they do not intend to marry first before moving in together. The elderly was said to have been disappointed about how young people do not listen anymore, especially after Him Law didn't heed her advice.
Him Law was reportedly not angry, but is resistant to cohabiting. It was cited that when he was dating Theresa Fu in the past, he would drive back to his apartment despite the late hours of the night. The actor was said to have not gotten used to cohabiting with Tavia Yeung despite of the arrangement already lasting for a year now.
The actor doesn't seem to like being inhibited inside his own home and reports have also said that Him Law and Tavia Yeung's mother do not have anything in common. Additionally, the actor was said to have been hiding inside his room to play video games whenever he arrives home earlier than Tavia Yeung.
Mrs. Yeung was insistent to have her daughter marry Him Law first and it only took a toll on their relationship, but Tavia was also trying to make amends for it as she, too, hopes to get married soon.
According to some reports, the actress is having a hard time trying to introduce the idea of marriage to her boyfriend as he is at the height of his career.
Furthermore, when Him Law was asked about Tavia Yeung's property, he said that she probably just wanted to invest on it and didn't say anything related to their relationship at all.
