A man was arrested Sunday after scaling the support beams on the Brooklyn Bridge to snap photos with his iPhone.
The area was packed with tourists and nobody was injured during the incident. After complying with police to come down, the man was arrested and taken into custody.

24-year-old Manhattan resident Yaroslav Kolchin began climbing a beam unnoticed on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge on Sunday afternoon. When a uniformed sergeant finally saw his ascent, he radioed Kolchin's description and location over police radio.
He had already reached the top of the tower by the time police teams on the ground were able to respond to the report and arrived on scene.
Kolchin was said to have walked back and forth, snapping photos on his iPhone, until a police helicopter hovered at level with him. He descended the beam the same way he climbed up and was immediately taken into custody without further incident.
Police said he did not attempt to remove anything from the bridge and did not cause any damage to the structure. He has been charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, and obstructing governmental administration.
Kolchin's stunt comes only weeks after another high-profile incident in which two German artists claimed responsibility for climbing the Brooklyn Bridge in order to swap out two US flags for two white-washed flags. The artists have since confirmed via email that they returned the flags to US authorities on Friday.
Security on the Brooklyn Bridge was tightened after the infamous flag-swapping incident. But according to Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, the extra measures have been concentrated on areas considered to be important to the structural integrity of the bridge.
Observers said Kolchin managed to climb up the tower onto the bridge because the two security cars in the area were not enough to deter anyone from pulling off another security breach stunt.
