No Water, No Problem: Olivia Wilde Dumps Breast Milk for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Olivia Wilde took on a bizarre approach as she performed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge last August 23. The new mother took to YouTube and posted a video of herself as she dumped icy breast milk over her head.

'Hi, I'm Olivia Wilde and I would like to accept the Ice Bucket Challenge,' the actress began, claiming that Dianna Agron from "Glee" had been half the reason why she snagged a nomination for the challenge. Wilde wore a black short-sleeved shirt paired with blue jeans and flip-flops.

"I hope it's ok, I couldn't find any water so I'm going to use breast milk," the famous breastfeeding supporter teased in the footage. "It took me all night to make this."

Jason Sudeikis' fiancée then took a large bucket of icy milk and unloaded it on her head as she stood on the roof of an apartment building in New York City.

Wilde screamed shrilly and walked away while laughing and shuddering. "It really is cold," she commented as she went to a corner.

The "Her" actress challenged singer/songwriter Prince, women's rights supporter Gloria Steinem, and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker. She also said that the challenge was dedicated to her pal Scott Lew.

In Glamour magazine's September issue, Wilde was photographed as she breastfed her son, 4-month-old Otis, and was dressed in a Roberto Cavalli feathered dress and high-heeled Prada shoes.

"Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn't complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that," the 30-year-old actress told the magazine. "Breastfeeding is the most natural thing."

Wilde's husband-to-be also did his share with a pal dousing him with a steam of ice-water. According to the former NFL star, he was nominated by ex-governor Mitt Romney to take on the challenge, "so we gotta do it."
