A Chinese bride-to-be from Shenyang, in Liaoning province, has decided to postpone her wedding because of a severe allergy problem that disfigured her face after a pre-wedding photo shoot.
The woman, identified only as Xiaojiao, had an allergic reaction to the make-up applied to her during the photo shoot, reports Shenyang Evening News. The photo shoot reportedly took place on January 24. The make-up she used was reportedly provided by the photo studio.

The morning after the shoot, Xiaojiao found her face red, swollen and covered in blisters. She returned to the photo studio and complained of her predicament, then the studio staff took her to the hospital.
Doctors said that she was suffering from dermatitis, saying that the symptoms were an allergic reaction to the make-up applied on her face the previous day.
The studio promised to give Xiaojiao 3,000 yuan to compensate her for the cost of her treatment.
Xiaojiao had reportedly spent nearly 10,000 yuan to treat her allergy problem, but to no avail. She dislosed that she gained weight as a result of taking drugs as part of her treatment. She is demanded that the studio give her 50,000 yuan as compensation for treatment costs and damages.
Both the disappointed bride-to-be and her fiance also reluctantly decided to postpone the wedding, which was originally scheduled for May 20, because of Xiaojiao's skin problem.
Practical Advice
Reporters have learnt that photo studios generally provide cosmetics and make-up to their clients, without giving much concern over quality and hygiene, reports Hi3p.com. As such, exoerts advise people to take their own make-up and cosmetics to a photo shoot.
Additionally, they said that keeping some form of evidence must be kept in order to prevent future problems.
