Director Ang Lee is set to showcase his upcoming movie direction Billy Lyn's Halftime Walk next month in Las Vegas. The presentation of the film will coincide with a speech he is set to deliver at The Future of Cinema Conference trade show, which is conducted annually by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) from April 16 to 21.

Billy Lyn's Halftime Walk is a novel-based production starring Joe Alwyn, Garrett Hedlund, Vin Diesel, Kristen Stewart, Steve Martin, Chris Tucker, and Ben Platt, among others. It was written by Simon Beaufoy, Oscar-winning screen writer of the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

Billy Lyn's Halftime Walk is a drama set in a war. It recounts the experience of a soldier who fights his way to join in a half-time show before going back to Iraq for deployment. The film uses a 120-frames-per-second filming arrangement as opposed to the usual 24 FPS. It will be the very first movie to use this advanced technology known for utilizing dual laser projection configuration.

Ang Lee is known for directing award-winning and critically-acclaimed films such as The Wedding Banquet in 1993, Sense and Sensibility in 1995, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in 2000, Brokeback Mountain in 2005, as well as the Life of Pi in 2012.

He has won both Academy and Golden Globe best director awards for the above-mentioned movies. Billy Lyn's Halftime Walk is set to hit the theaters on Nov. 11.
