Holocaust survivors and descendants of survivors voiced their solidarity for the Palestinian people, condemning the military strikes that Israel has been conducting against Gaza.  

In a letter published in The New York Times, the group calls for the United States and EU to boycott Israel.

Members of the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network condemned Israel in what they believe to be a cultural brainwashing more 60 years in the making. They believe that the Israeli population has been conditioned to no longer see Palestinians as people.

The group also called out politicians and pundits from publications such as The Times of Israel, The Jerusalem Post, and The Wall Street Journal who openly expressed views that the genocide and complete annihilation of Palestinians is the only acceptable solution.

Since the conflict began, over 2,100 Palestinians have been killed, and it is alleged that this number includes around 500 children. Bombs have also destroyed countless homes and businesses, damaged the country's infrastructure, and decimated its only power plant.

Hajo Meyer, the first signature in the open letter of the group, was an Auschwitz survivor.  In his final interview before he passed away on Aug. 23, he publicly voiced his support for Palestine and condemned Zionist behavior as inhuman, even going so far as to compare it to that of Nazi criminals.  

Meyer was among 43 Holocaust survivors from around the world who shared their condemnation not only of the massacre occurring in Gaza, but of the United States which continues to support Israel's military attacks through funding and diplomatic power to protect Israel.

The open letter contains a total of 358 signatures.  Children and relatives of Holocaust survivors collectively joined their voices to appeal to the world to stop racism and end genocide in Palestine with a full economic, academic, and cultural boycott of Israel.  

They unequivocally demand for an immediate stop to the illegal occupation, siege and blockade of Gaza and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.
