The Irish actor will be translating the role of an ex CIA agent will be pulled into a final mission albeit unwillingly. The film is based on a spy thriller novel series by writer Bill Granger.
According to reports, 'The November Man' isn't like that of the James Bond movies which made a greater appeal to the public.
When asked about his character, the 61-year old actor said that he has a better idea of how to portray his new character compared to how it had been when he was starting out as James Bond. "This November Man is a rougher hewn-type man and there's a complexity to him that I like," says Pierce Brosnan on an interview.
The actor revealed that he had been rather confused as to how he would play the role of 007.
Pierce Brosnan has started translating the iconic character of the MI6 agent James Bond in 1995 through the film 'Golden Eye' and ended it with 'Die Another Day' in 2002 which did not sell well in the box office, passing the role to Daniel Craig in 2008.
Despite the closing of the franchise and change in actor for the role, Pierce claims to be thankful to the Bond production, saying that 'The November Man' couldn't have been if it weren't for the other movie franchise.
'The November Man' was shot in Serbia, Russia and it was produced by Irish DreamTime, the actor's own company. It had been a small-budget film which also stars Russian actress Olga Kurylenko and a rookie actor from Australia named Luke Bracey.
Additionally, despite reports that Pierce Brosnan might appear in the 'Expendables 4', he refuted the rumors.
