A $40 short being sold to promote Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour has caught the attention of many people not because of the singer's skills, but because of a typographical error. Fans were quick to realize that the word "purpose" was misspelled on the shirt.

The print at the back of each shirt reads, "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is God's purose that prevails." This is, indeed, a shocking mistake not only because it is the concert's title, but because it is also the name of the Canadian singing sensation's latest album name.

What makes the already unfortunate mistake worse is that the quote lacks proper crediting, givng the impression that it came from Bieber himself. However, the line was actually lifted from the bible - Proverbs 19:21. But it seems Beiber's marketing team forgot to credit the holy book.

One of the singer's representatives, however, told TMZ that their camp is fully aware of the misspelled word and that all the shirts are now being recalled. He added that fans who have bought the shirt may have it exchanged for the one with the correctly spelled word on it.

The Purpose World Tour will cover the United States and Canada with a total of 64 shows. The tour commenced on March 9 in Seattle. Beiber's next stops will be in Sacramento (March 15), San Jose (March 17), Oakland, CA (March 18), and Los Angeles (March 20).
