Fans of Salt Lake Comic Con's FanXperience in China can rejoice! On Monday, Comic Con announced their plans of going global. This summer, FanXperience will reach some parts of Asia.
Pop Life Entertainment along with Salt Lake Comic Con announced their global partnership, which would include interaction with fans on social media, merchandise, and pop culture events. Comic Con's FanXperience is already a frenzy-filled event in the U.S., now it is set to expand to South East Asia and Greater China.

"This is an incredible new development and partnership," stated Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con founder and producer. "FanXperience has been a huge hit with fans as it provides a broader range of opportunities and options. We're excited that it will now be a global event, taking place not only in the United States but throughout Asia."
The upcoming FanXperience events in Asia include the following:
- Pop Life FanXperience in the Philippines, June 10-12, 2016
- Pop Life FanXperience in China, Sept. 14-17, 2016
- Pop Life FanXperience in Thailand, Dec. 9-11, 2016
The collaboration between Pop Life Entertainment and Salt Lake Comic Con FanXperience and their resulting plans to reach parts of Asia could not come at a better time.
Mission Hills Golf Chief Ken Chu claims that comics along with cosplay and video games would help support youth exchange between mainland China and Hong Kong.
"Young people from the mainland and Hong Kong have a lot of common interests like comics and electronic games. Organising joint events or [sports] competitions will provide more channels to enhance communication," explained Chu.
With Comic Con FanXperience and Pop Life heading to China, the potential to build ties between the mainland and Hong Kong youth is possible.
