Last season's 13th-ranked team Tianjin Teda FC (0-1-0, 0 points) and capital city squad Beijing Guoan FC (0-0-0, 0 points) will look to find their first win of the young 2016 Chinese Super League season as they face each other at the TEDA Football Stadium on Wednesday, March 16th.

Tianjin lost its season opener against Guangzhou R&F FC, 0-1, last Saturday at the team's other home field, the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium, as per Cri English.

Guangzhou midfielder Wang Song scored the lone goal of the game for the Blue Lions at the 57th minute off an assist by striker teammate Chang Feiya after both teams ended up scoreless in a highly defensive first half of play, via Soccerway.

The loss prevented the Tigers from earning any point in their first game of the season, keeping them at the bottom of the league table together with Changchun Yatai with zero points.

Meanwhile, Beijing is included in one of only three clubs that has zero points so far in the new season because the team has not played a game yet.

Their slated first game against Hebei China Fortune last March 11th was re-scheduled and so they are the only remaining CSL club that has not appeared on the pitch thus far this season.

The Imperial Guards are set to parade a new lineup of imports that is spearheaded by Brazilian Serie A champion midfielder Renato Augusto and defender Ralf who both transferred from Sport Club Corinthians Paulista during the recently closed winter transfer window.

Beijing will also feature newcomer Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz who was signed on Feb. 5th from Galatasaray for a fee of €8 million.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 opening victory for Beijing Guoan.
