Diem Brown, star of "The Challenge" confirmed with People Magazine that she is currently battling with colon cancer. Several years ago, the 32-year old reality star also had to struggle with ovarian cancer twice.

Despite what life has given her, Brown is determined to win her third bout with cancer.

"It's been a dark couple of days but the outpouring of support has been tremendous. It's truly what will keep me fighting," she shared.

Brown collapsed while shooting her new reality show. She was rushed to the hospital where she had to undergo two surgeries - one to remove the tumor blocking her colon and another to correct complications that resulted from the first surgery. 

Brown's sister Megan shared that surgeons had to do emergency surgery to remove the tumor. While they were removing the mass they unfortunately found several more tumors.

"The second surgery was about two steps back. But hopefully in the next few weeks she'll be well enough to start chemo. She's on a lot of medication but every once and a while you'll see her spirit, the light back in her eyes," Megan shared.

Brown was 23 when she first suffered through ovarian cancer. She again went through the disease two years later.

Megan stated that although her sister is going through another rough patch, she is a fighter and "tough as nails". With support from family and friends, Megan believes that her sister will once again overcome cancer.

Aside from being a recurring cast member in "The Challenge", Brown was an entertainment reporter for Sky Living. 

After she completed her treatment for ovarian cancer, Brown competed in the reality show's 13th season entitled "The Duel", where she took off her wig during one of the challenges. The said moment is considered as one of the most touching in the show's run.
