Warner Bros' new movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is anticipated to break box office records as it is seen to hit between $300 to $340 million in ticket sales globally.

According to Deadline, the superhero movie, which will be released in 4DX, 3D, PLF and Imax, is even expected to generate $140 million in the United States alone. This means, therefore, that it is bound to defeat "The Avengers," "Furious 7" and "Deadpool" which recorded a weekend opening sales of $207.4 million, $147.1 million and $132.4 million, respectively, two weeks before its release date in the US.

It was further noted that if the Zack Snyder-directed movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be successful in raking in more than $152 million for three days, it will surely be considered as the biggest so far in pre-summer opening, a performance better than that of "Furious 7."

Meanwhile, Movio, which monitors the profile of the movie ticket buyers, revealed that majority of its expected audience are males.

"The audience profile is 78 percent male, massively over indexing between age 14-49," Movio co-founder and chief executive Will Palmer said about the March 10 figures.

"This is your avid opening weekend audience with some 70 percent attending films during opening week, spending 3.2 times more than the typical US moviegoer ," he added.

Furthermore, it was disclosed that 99 percent of these moviegoers have booked tickets for opening weekend.

On the other hand, Variety hinted that a great fight is about to happen between the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) and the Son of Jor-El (Henry Cavill).

Based on the monologue of Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), it was hinted that the battle between the two caped superheroes will be "the greatest gladiator match in the history of the world."
