The 30-year-old actress has received criticisms from Wonder Woman fans since it was announced in 2013 that she would play the role. Incidentally, Gadot will play the same character in an upcoming movie titled Wonder Woman. While some netizens have mentioned that she is not curvy enough to play Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), others have compared her to Lynda Carter who portrayed the heroine in the 70s.

Gadot clarified that her role as an actress does not give her the responsibility of paying attention to negative noise around her. She said her job is to deliver the script to the best of her abilities and according to the director's specifications. She further stated that she feels grateful and honored to be working with both Ben Affleck (Batman) and Henry Cavill (Superman).

During the US premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in New York, Gadot wowed the crowd of spectators with a sparkling, mini silver dress that bared her shoulders and legs. The ensemble was further accentuated by the actress' sexy silver heels, free flowing shoulder-length hair, and a very light make up that gave her a fresher and a more natural look.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit the theaters worldwide on Friday, March 25, while Gadot's standalone flick Wonder Woman is expected to be released in summer of 2017.
