The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards brought in numerous awards for broadcast and cable television with AMC's "Breaking Bad" making it big by bagging five awards, including outstanding drama series for the second consecutive year.
The crime drama series, which revolves around the story of a high school teacher who was diagnosed with lung cancer and began selling crystal meth with his former student, already ended its final season.

Bryan Cranston, who played the teacher Walter White in the series, snagged the award for best lead actor in a drama series, making it his fifth Emmy win.
Moreover, his costar Aaron Paul, who played his student in the series, won the award for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series. Anna Gunn, who played the role of Walter's wife, Skyler, bagged the award for outstanding supporting actress.
"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan said in his acceptance speech that it had been "a wonderful time to be working in television."
All in all, AMC garnered six consecutive Emmy Awards for the past years for best drama series, making it the only network with such achievement.
AMC President Charlie Collier said: "If anyone deserves Emmy bookends, it's Vince Gilligan. He's family, and he taught us all to never underestimate chemistry."
The best comedy series award was bagged by ABC's "Modern Family", tying with "Frasier" for winning the title five consecutive times. Ty Burrell, who plays the role of a goofy son-in-law, snagged the Emmy award for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series.
As the awards signified a triumph for traditional television, Netflix had been snubbed for its prison comedy, "Orange Is The New Black" and political drama "House of Cards", although Netflix did rake in seven wins for the Creative Arts Emmy Awards program.
