During an interview regarding Christine Fan's pregnancy, Blackie Chen has mistakenly claimed that his wife got pregnant through artificial insemination. There had been rumors circulating that the couple had to decide on taking the process in order to have children.
When asked about the rumors, Blackie Chen misunderstood and accidentally admitted to it. However, Christine Fan denied this and cleared the rumors as well as her husband's claim.
The 38-year old singer stated that her pregnancy was deemed 'artificial' because she has taken ovulation pills and used vaccines in order to stimulate her ovulation process in order for her to possibly get pregnant at her age.
The singer has tried her first attempt to conceive in May, however, it had been unsuccessful. She tried again in June, taking over 10 injections before doctors confirmed the presence of eggs. The couple was encouraged to try again and finally, Christine Fan is pregnant.
Although the singer has gotten pregnant through ovulation stimulation, her pregnancy is still considered a natural process.
On the other hand, according to previous reports, Christine Fan is said to be having a hard time during her pregnancy. The singer is said to be suffering from severe morning sickness and even had incidences of bleeding during her 6th week of gestation. She is said to have a weak body after what she had to undergo. Christine is also said to have lost 3kg over the past weeks.
However, the mommy-to-be seems happy with where she is in life, even nicknaming her twins 'Big Panda' and 'Small Panda'.
