Italian Serie A squad Juventus FC is reportedly forwarding another bid for Liverpool FC striker Christian Benteke this summer and the Reds are said to be willing to part ways with their flop signing for a fee of £25 million.

The Mirror said that Jürgen Klopp's side "will demand at least £25m" for the 25-year-old Belgium international, who was signed by the then Brendan-Rodgers led Liverpool club from Aston Villa for £32.5 million last summer, for them to approve a transfer to Turin.

Juve had also made a bid for Benteke last summer but the Villans ultimately chose Liverpool's offer to land the Zaire-born Belgian. It seems that the four-straight Italian top flight champions are really keen on acquiring him despite his poor form in England this season and so they are preparing a bid for him once more in this upcoming offseason.

Benteke had so far been a disappointment in his first season at the Anfield, scoring a dismal seven points in 24 appearances in the domestic top flight. He had 8 goals overall in all competitions for the Reds this season, which is way below his usual numbers in recent years.

The Kinshasa native had 49 goals in 101 games for Aston Villa during his three-season stay with the club, scoring 42 times in 89 games in the Premier League, which is considered a high goal scoring total for any player at his position, via Caught Offside.

He had failed to duplicate his form with the Merseyside residents this season partly because of injuries and partly because of lack of opportunities given to him playing behind Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi, and Danny Ings in the club's striker pecking order.

Speculations abound that Klopp is keen on making a complete overhaul with his roster this summer and was allegedly given a huge warchest to pull off his plans. Benteke is said to be one of the first to be sold out of Liverpool as the German bench tactician was not impressed about his play this season.
