Speculated incoming Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly targeting to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer for an alleged amount of £60 million.
The Independent reported that Mourinho "has identified the Tottenham striker Harry Kane as his priority target for Manchester United this summer" as soon as the 53-year-old Portuguese bench tactician is officially named as the new manager of the Red Devils after this season.

The 22-year-old Kane, a player for the England national team and third captain for Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs, is currently playing in his sixth season with Tottenham, who had been his team since his youth career.
He has so far netted 21 goals in 31 appearances in the Premier League this season, leading the club to its current second place status behind league leaders Leicester City and still having a shot on the domestic top flight title with seven games left in the team's 2015-2016 campaign.
Kane had been a consistent goal scorer for the Spurs in the past two seasons, scoring a total of 55 goals in 94 appearances in all competitions which is one of the highest productions by a striker in the Premier League during the said time span.
Meanwhile, Caught Offside noted that "it is looking increasingly likely that Mourinho will replace (current Manchester United manager) Louis van Gaal" at the end of the season and "that the Special One intends to recruit half a first team" when that time comes.
The report continued that Mourinho wants a "mobile main striker, a fast right winger, a commanding central midfielder and two defenders, but Kane is the one player that he wants above any other".
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is said to be not willing to sell the 6-foot-2 Chingford, England native, but an offer of at least £60 million could allegedly force the approval of the Spurs' executives to push through with the deal.
