Four-time Ligue 1 champion Zlatan Ibrahimović was reportedly offered £59 million by China to join the Chinese Super League after the striker's current contract with French club Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season.
A lot of speculations have emerged regarding the future of the 34-year-old Swedish forward as he had mentioned in the past that he is ready to move on from playing outside of France for the first time in four years as Les Rouge-et-Bleu seems to be not keen on giving him a contract extension past this summer.

Rumors that he will move to the English Premier League or to America's Major League Soccer or back to the Italian Serie A have surfaced since last summer, but recently the loudest noise is that the Sweden national team captain is considering a transfer to Asia because of the sensational offer.
The Sun had recently claimed that "the Chinese government are now ready to help finance a huge two-year-deal to tempt Ibrahimović to the Far East" as "China's politicians are helping to bankroll the huge investment in the country's football league in order to develop the game there".
The report also anticipates that "after paying big money for players like Ramires and Jackson Martinez, they (Chinese clubs) are ready to go even bigger with a massive salary for Swedish hero Ibrahimović".
Meanwhile, Caught Offside reported that the Chinese government believes "that the 34-year-old can become the face of the league and continue to ensure that it grows in both popularity and strength from a competitive and infrastructure point of view".
It is not yet clear which CSL side will Ibrahimović join but whichever club he ends up playing with would definitely receive a major boost not only in the possibility of winning the domestic and continental titles, but also in acquiring major sponsors, having an increased fanbase, and building brand awareness.
