Microsoft has rolled out the March update for Xbox One, introducing a lot of highly requested features from the players.
Among the major update included is the capability to purchase backward-compatible Xbox 360 games through the Xbox One. This reduces the friction for a player who has money they want to spend on older games. In addition, Xbox One official store is expanding and it would allow players to purchase their favorite backwards compatible titles missing from their current Xbox 360 collection. Two video games “Dark Souls” and “Tekken Tag Tournament 2” will be part of the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list.

Microsoft has also increased the number of included chatters in Party Chat. From 12 persons, it can now accommodate 16-persons Parties across both Xbox One and the Xbox app. This feature has been very popular with the community since its inception in November 2013 with only 8 users allowed in the chat party.
In addition to the update, Microsoft enhanced the thumbstick precision of Xbox One Elite Controller. The changes will definitely reflect during the diagonal use of the thumbstick. The update will increase the accuracy of the thumbsticks and give players greater control.
The American tech giant has also improved its video playback system. Players can video playback directly from the Xbox One Activity Feed. Xbox One Preview members will be able to play an entire video inline rather than having to leave their feed to launch it. They can also like the video on preview by pressing the X icon. Preview members will also enjoy new pause, restart, and full-screen playback options, when they do choose to launch a video from their Activity Feed.
In previous update in February, the Xbox system made some improvements on the gaming console’s social features and has introduced a new Avatar store. Microsoft has also announced a price drop for Xbox One, offering a price tag of $300 for a limited time only.
