The latest MacBook Pro 2016 rumors suggested that a new device from Apple would come with a Retina display and possibly carries with it a release date of April.

Based on the System Image Utility of the company and a source's OS X Server shared with 9To5Mac, it was discovered that a 12-inch Retina MacBook was marked "Early 2016" which could mean that such a product from Apple is set to be out early this year.

In the meantime, the MacBook Pro 2016 rumors hinted that when Apple talks about an "early" launch, it tells about a release date of not later than April of the said year.

It can be recalled that the Retina MacBook 2015 was made available in April, thus, an April 2016 update is likely to happen.

However, it was noted that there was no mention if a Retina MacBook Pro or a Retina MacBook Air is the one that is expected to arrive.

Meanwhile, another speculation claimed that the American tech giant is also currently working on "ultra-thin" 13-inch and 15-inch MacBooks, but, it was unclear if such would be for the Air or Pro models.

On the other hand, Mac World UK reported in its own MacBook Pro 2016 rumors that one of the specs that are anticipated to be incorporated into the upcoming device is the Skylake processor.

It was pointed out that with it, its battery life would greatly improve and might even match the 12 hours and 9 hours battery performance of MacBook Air.

At present, the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro offers 10 hours of battery life while the 15-inch variant comes with eight hours of battery life.

While there have been no official announcements yet from Apple about its MacBook devices during its March 21 event, consumers might expect more MacBook Pro 2016 rumors to come out in the coming days.
