Although the device sounds very expensive, it also comes with a lot of features that can be used for many things and businesses, such as meetings, conferences, even medical presentations.

The Surface Hub features powerful innards, reports The Verge. Its display has support for 100 points of touch input (either fingers or pens); is powered by either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor; has 128 gigs of internal storage space; and 8 gigs of RAM. The more expensive option also possesses Nvidia Quadro graphics.

The Surface Hub also features Bluetooth and NFC connectivity, as well as a bezel that has dual webcams and noise-canceling microphones.

It runs on Windows 10 and has capabilities like that of a computer, but do it even better: The Surface Hub can serve as a PowerPoint presentation screen; a whiteboard that's very useful for meetings, brainstorming and planning; and can also be used for teleconferencing.

Microsoft believes that they can change the course of businesses with the Surface Hub. In a Windows blog, Brian Hall, Microsoft Devices Marketing General Manager, said that the team responsible for developing all of Microsoft's Surface devices work better with the help of the gigantic device that they use for all their meetings and plannings, and thus they have decided to develop it more and release it to businesses that will also benefit from it.

Microsoft said that the Surface Hub can be used in different fields, including healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, consulting, defense, finance, and education. Using it in such areas will help ensure, according to the Redmond-based tech company, that teams will work better, and that companies will save money.
