Sky's Elena Delle Donne scored 34 points to lead Chicago and past the Atlanta Dream to advance to the Eastern Conference finals of the WNBA.

The Dream jumped off to an early 30-17 lead at the first quarter but 24-year-old Delle Donne erupted with 13 points to keep Sky within striking distance in the second quarter 54-41.

In the third quarter, neither team could establish a good scoring rhythm as they combined for just 23 points 67-51 with Sky still trailing the Dream.

Sky scored seven quick points in the fourth quarter to reduce the deficit to 10 points, 72-62 with just 6:56 remaining in the ball game.

Last year's Rookie of the Year Delle Donne did it again as she scored 17 points in the fourth quarter alone to lead Sky to a 19-2 run to tie the game with only 3:33 remaining.

After a series of traded baskets, Sky is down by one point with just 16.2 seconds remaining. Chicago sets up Delle Donne and gave the ball to her; she puts up a shot and scored with 8.2 seconds remaining to pull-off a historic 81-80 come-from-behind victory.

"Last year, we went down big in both games and we crumbled," Delle Donne said. "This year, we went down just as big, but we fought back."

The two-time WNBA All-Star Delle Donne also contributed 4 assists, 3 blocked shots and 2 rebounds.

Tamera Young scored 16 points and Sylvia Fowles with 13 but was top rebounder with 15 for Sky while Erika de Souza top scored for Dream with 18 points followed by Angel McCoughtry with 17.

Sky is now heading back to Chicago to prepare for the Eastern Conference finals against the Indiana Fever who defeated the Washington Mystics 2-0 in their playoff series.

Both teams met last year at the semi-finals of the conference where Indiana won 2-0 but eventually lost in the conference finals to Atlanta.
