Both sides are set to parade their recent winter international acquisitions such as Gervinho, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Ersan Gulum, Gael Kakuta, and Stephane M'Bia for the Samba Kings and Alex Teixeira, Ramires, Jo, and Trent Sainsbury for Jiangsu in what is expected to be a high-paced and exciting contest.

Hebei has only played one game so far, a 2-1 opening day win over Guangzhou R&F at the Yuexiushan Stadium in Guangzhou on March 4th to launch the new CSL season, as per Sofa Score.

Gulum and Gervinho scored one goal apiece, at the 28th and 40th minutes respectively, in the decisive win for the newly-promoted club to start their China top flight campaign in a bang. The Blue Lions got into the scoreboard with an own goal by Gulum in the 11th minute of the match.

Manager Li Tie's men are supposed to play Beijing Guoan on March 11th but the game was postponed and re-scheduled at a still unannounced date, which is why they are only in their second assignment in this match versus Jiangsu.

Meanwhile, Jiangsu had won its first two games this season starting with a 3-0 romp of Shandong Luneng in their season-opener on March 3rd and then a 2-1 decision over last season's China League One winners Yanbian Funde at their home field of Nanjing Olympic Sports Center on March 11th, via Soccerway.

Chinese midfielder Zhang Xiaobin opened the scoring in the match at the 36th minute off an assist by Croatian winger Sammir.

South Korean midfielder Yoon Bit-garam was able to equalize the game one minute after the hour mark, but Jiangsu got back the lead and kept it ten minutes later with a goal from defender Li Ang to remain unbeaten in two games.

The predicted result is a high-scoring but close 3-2 victory for Jiangsu Suning, handing Hebei China its first loss in the first division domestic competitions.
