Google Nexus 9 Tablet Selling for $299 on Amazon

HTC is running a discount for the Google Nexus 9 32GB tablet and it is now available for $299.99. This is a $180 discount from the original selling price of the Android Marshmallow 6.0 tablet. The discount is only available on Amazon.
The Google Nexus 9 is reportedly compatible with the new Android N.

The Google Nexus 9 Wi-Fi tablet comes with an 8.9 screen with a 2048 x 1536 resolution, 2GB RAM and an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor in dual-core 2.3 GHz. Despite missing the memory card slot feature, the manufacturer offers 16GB and 32GB varieties.
The device also has an 8-megapixel rear camera equipped with an autofocus feature and LED flash, 1.6-megapixel for the front one. It is powered by a 6,700 mAh battery and can boost music volume with its HTC BoomSound speakers.
Despite the discount on Amazon, the price of the device remains the same on HTC's US website. The 16GB is selling for $399, while 32GB is still available for $479.
There are rumors surrounding that Google may stop producing the tablet to promote newer ones thus the promotion is being offered. There are speculations that the company will release a Nexus 7 tablet later this year after the launch of Android N in May.
