Hong Kong Actor Andy Lau and his Malaysian wife Carol Choo are rumored to be expecting a second child.

Choo was recently seen with a visible baby bump. She is estimated to be four months pregnant by a local magazine.

However, Lau has not confirmed nor denied the rumors of his wife's second pregnancy.

"No response, thank you for your concern," said the 54-year-old actor to questions from reporters.

Lau is already a father to four-year-old Hanna, who is now starting preschool in Hong Kong. Lau has repeatedly expressed interest in having a younger brother for Hanna.

Lau and Choo have reportedly prayed to Buddha to give them a son for their second child.

Choo opted to rest for a year after giving birth to Hanna, but she is reported to have eventually started to receive artificial insemination on a regular basis.

A source revealed that every time the process of artificial insemination failed, Choo would wait for another two weeks to try again. Lau apparently did not want Choo to suffer from the after-effects of this process and they had a mutual agreement that they would try for two more years.

Fortunately, the couple succeeded in conceiving their second child. Since learning of her pregnancy in December, Choo has reportedly been taking extra precaution. To avoid stress, Lau has already taken over the task of dropping off Hanna to school whenever he is in Hong Kong.
