A Chinese man who was hired 16 years ago to kill the lesbian lover of a teenage schoolgirl is now returning to face his trial in court following his arrest earlier this month.
The man, who was reportedly hired by the girl’s father, raped then murdered the victim, and then finally dumped her dead body in a well in Luoyang, Henan province.

The father was apparently against the relationship between his daughter and the lesbian lover. He discovered the relationship when he noticed her daughter’s grades and school performance drastically drop after the student fell in love with her lesbian lover.
The same-sex couple also rented an apartment and lived together, to the father’s disgust. Infuriated, he visited the family of her daughter's girlfriend several times. He begged them to make their daughter leave the girl alone but failed.
The father then wanted to hire someone only for the purpose of beating the lesbian lover, to stop and prevent her from approaching his daughter. However, a lawyer friend of his said that he could settle the matter "once and for all."
The lawyer then contacted the suspect who carried on the plan to dispose of the lesbian lover. The father reportedly paid 10,000 yuan for his service.
The lawyer was given the death penalty and was executed. The father, on the other hand, is currently serving life sentence in prison.
