"Attack on Titan" season 2 spoilers indicate that Levi Ackerman will die and new Titans will be introduced such as "Colossal Titan" and "Armoured Titan."

"Attack on Titan," the manga-to-anime adaptation completed its first season in 2014. It was pretty famous for its official Japanese title "Shingeki no Kyojin." Now, fans are gearing to see the second season of this show.

Tetsuro Araki, who is the anime director, went public to update the fans on the current status of "Attack on Titan" Season 2. He said in his interview that the entire team is being extra cautious with the second season of "Attack on Titan."

He said that they are ready for any production challenges which may come their way. He further said that animating the main character of the manga is nothing short of a cultural challenge.

He added that every one who is involved in the production is well aware of the fact that the characters have an important historical value, and they don't want to make any mistakes.

The director also said that the production of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is in full speed.

He said that the team is working really hard to give the upcoming season a superb climax, and fans are going to love it. He further hinted that the show could possibly be released within this year itself. The anime is expected to return to the small screen sometime later this 2016. The official release date is yet to be confirmed.

As far as the speculation about the plot of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is concerned, it will pick up from the events which were shown in the first season. The show will start after the 25th episode in which Annie, who is the female Titan, was defeated. Some rumours are also stating that this season will come with four story arcs instead of two story arcs, which were used in Season 1.
