Lead actor and producer of the new show The Ranch, which premiered on Netflix on April 1,  Ashton Kutcher has apologized to You're Still the One country singer Shania Twain after jokes about the singer and other Canadian celebrities were included on the show's pilot episode.

Kutcher's character Colt Bennett is a semi-professional football player who has just come back to his hometown Saskatoon in Saskatchewan to be reunited with his family in their ranch. In one of the scenes of the first episode, Colt was shown recalling a sexual encounter that started with the lines "Balls head first into Miss Shania" and eventually led to an ending where he showed the five time Grammy award winner his "Twain."

Kutcher was quick to say sorry to Twain on Friday in a Tweet saying "Apologies again, Miss @ShaniaTwain. I had no inhibitions, made no conditions and definitely got out of line." The lines were obviously taken from the singer's popular 1997 hit single Man, I Feel Like a Woman.

Twain, in response, quoted her 1995 hit Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under and told Kutcher, "@aplusk next time you're lonely, don't' call on me. Try the operator, maybe she'll be free. @theranchnetflix." Finally, a closure Tweet seemed to have solved any misunderstanding between the two stars as Kutcher said, "Note to self: Shania Twain... not easily impressed."

Many netizens were actually impressed to note that Kutcher seemed to be very well knowledgeable of Twain's songs - something that captured the hearts of many instead of irking them.

The Ranch is a two-part series with 10 episodes in each series. The first 10 episodes were played on April 1 on Netflix. No confirmation date yet has been announced when the last 10 episodes will be played.
