Samsung Rolls Out Updated Samsung+ 3.0 for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge

Samsung has unveiled its new version of Samsung+ app for its Galaxy series, offering the new Samsung Assist feature.

The Samsung+ 3.0’s new Samsung Assist feature will allow representatives to remotely control a user’s device to help teach them how to use certain features of their device. Using Samsung Assist, users can get help from Samsung support representatives who can remotely operate and troubleshoot the device after being given permission by the customer. Currently, it is available via Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones and will be added to other Galaxy devices and tablets through carrier updates over the coming weeks.

In addition, there is a feature called On Demand Answers, which is a self-guided support option. It offers FAQa and troubleshooting tips that aim to help users solve their device issues on their own. Another feature is Device Diagnostics feature monitors a device's battery health, data and security and offers tools that can help users optimize their device battery life and organize and streamline their on-device storage.

Other features in Samsung+ 3.0 include live video chat support and an Active Hub that lets the users to quickly access all of the support options from their home screen. It has also a feature called Galaxy Life loyalty tab that provides unique access to concerts, performances, and other freebies. There is also an Explore tab that will show the users the different tips and tricks they can do with their device and more.

The updated app is available now to download from the Google Play store and can be downloaded to a wide variety of Samsung devices, bringing users more options for getting technical support on their devices.
