Nicholas Tse and Joey Yung Films MV for ‘Let Us Go On’

Hong Kong stars Nicholas Tse and Joey Yung are said to have filmed a music video for "Let Us Go On." The song is part of the original motion picture soundtrack for the upcoming film "But Always." The romantic film is set to be released in theatres on Sept. 5.

Tse, son of veteran actor Patrick Tse, recently finished filming for his mainland China food travelogue "Chef Nic." He reportedly returned to Hong Kong to join promotional activities for "But Always." He stars in the film alongside Gao Yuan Yuan.

Nicholas Tse himself composed the "Let Us Go On" soundtrack for the film, reports said. The song was released as a single last week.

The 33-year old singer-actor also invited singer-actress Yung to star as the female lead in the music video for the new single. However, Tse said he regretted casting Yung in the music video. He said filming intimate scenes with her felt like he was committing incest.

Tse seemed to feel awkward because he and Yung have been long-time good friends. They were senior artists together at Emporer Entertainment Group, EEG, and have had extensive experience together when it came to filming. However, the two stars consistently committed mistakes when they were asked to shoot intimate scenes..

Tse's attempt to hug the 34-year old singer and actress would always result in laughter. He said it was a difficult feat for them to maintain a serious atmosphere while on set.

"We're as close as brother and sister," he said. "Hugging each other while singing a love song is very strange and embarrassing. It's hard to not laugh."

The director even suggested changing the music video theme. Tse's manager insisted on going through with the original plan. So far, the planned filming has been successful.
