Is Lady Gaga Saying Goodbye to Pop Music and Gaudy Outfits? Mother Monster Turns to Jazz Genre

Lady Gaga's latest album, "Cheek to Cheek", has been slotted for a final release on September 23. Interestingly, the Mother Monster has now set her musical direction towards jazz and has performed duets with legendary jazz singer Tony Bennett.
Bennett first mentioned the album in an interview with Rolling Stone over two years ago. Meanwhile, Gaga announced their project in her tweet that mentioned Bennett after their performance at the Inaugural Ball in 2013.

The two musicians first collaborated on Bennett's album, "Duets II", in 2011 wherein they sang "The Lady Is A Tramp" and soared to the top spot on the Jazz Billboard charts.
With Gaga drawing back from the pop world, it has been a big question whether her outfits and pop music career will still have a future.
According to Bennett, the two have been planning on doing a long tour together as well as a follow-up project to their collaborative jazz album "Cheek to Cheek."
Their duet tour will revolve around jazz music as the legendary musician explained why Gaga has been looking forward to a less dramatic change: "She's kind of exhausted from playing for 45,000 people a night."
Bennett added, "I'm not interested in playing to 45,000 people a night, so she's finding places where we could work for three or four days, or three or four weeks, in one place at a time. That's how she wants to work with me."
As for the jazz genre of music, Gaga and Bennett have turned it up a notch, with two of their songs soaring up the top spot of the Jazz charts ("Anything Goes", "The Lady Is A Tramp").
The Mother Monster first exhibited her abilities in singing at Cherry Tree Records by using the piano version of her hit single "Poker Face". While it had been a big surprise for the audience five years ago, the pop singer has now proved her ability to perform alongside a legendary musician with a change in genre.
