"The American Psycho" Stephan Bonnar just recently signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA after seven years with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Brian McMahon first tweeted about Bonnar's debut match with his new company, stating that he will be facing "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy," Tito Ortiz.

The fight was set up after Ortiz had expressed his thoughts regarding Bonnar's induction into the UFC hall of fame in 2013.

While UFC President Dana White defended his induction of Bonnar by saying that his fight against Forrest Griffin in the finale of the first-ever Ultimate Fighter changed the sport and the company for the better.

"He's being inducted for that one fight that took this thing to the next level," White stated.

Ortiz on the other hand, does not agree with White. While he respects Griffin's induction - due to the fact that he fought some tough opponents, reigned as light heavyweight champion, and beat Ortiz twice - he does not believe that Bonnar deserves it.

"I have nothing against the guy, but you've got to be a world champion, I think, to be in the Hall of Fame," Ortiz said to MMA Junkie last year.

Bonnar took Ortiz's remarks as a challenge. He even sees the fight as "helping him out," citing that Ortiz's clothing company and management company were not making any money, and how wife and porn star Jenna Jameson had taken all his money.

"I'm gonna help the poor guy get paid," said Bonnar.

Apart from the potential fights with the new organization, sources close to Bellator said that there is also a chance that Bonnar will be doing some broadcasting work for Bellator on Spike TV.

Bonnar's last MMA fight was in 2012 against former middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, where "The Spider" won the fight via a knee to the body in the first round.

The recent signing also comes in the heels of lightweight prospect Eddie Alvarez jumping ship from Bellator to the UFC.
