Spy star Melissa McCarthy brought down the house down as she showcased a hilarious talent for lip-syncing during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. After promoting her upcoming film The Boss, the 45-year-old comedienne joined Fallon on stage as the two performed a lip-sync battle against each other, which many have dubbed as one of the best in the show's history.

McCarthy and Fallon started the lip-sync war with the host's rendition of singer Melanie's Brand New Key. Although his act was quite impressive, he was definitely the underdog after McCarthy's lip-sync version of DMX's X Gon' Give It to Ya.

The second set of songs included former One Direction band member Zayn Malik's Pillowtalk, which Fallon performed with funny intensity. This was counteracted with an even more humorous rendition of Disney's Colors of the Wind by McCarthy, which according to many, brought the house down due to the many other elements McCarthy included to the performance.

For one, water was thrown to McCarthy to represent "rain" and "river" on the song, and when the lyrics reached the part that says "The heron and the otter are my friends," stuffed toys versions of the animals were also tossed to the comical actress. The confetti to represent the "colors of the wind," however, was the winning streak for McCarthy as she ended up like a decorated cake after the performance.

The Boss is a comedy film directed by Ben Falcone, the same director of McCarthy's previous hits - Identity Thief, The Heat, Tammy, and Spy. The movie is set to hit the theaters on April 8 and will also star Kristen Bell, Peter Dinklage, Annie Mumolo, and Tyler Labine, among others.
