It seems incredible but scientists have found a way to transmit the brain waves of one person to another person over the internet.
This telepathic communication was accomplished by using headsets powered by electroencephalography (EEG).
Initially, the EEG setup was between a person and a computer. The headsets captured electrical currents the brain associates with certain thoughts or movements.

The brain waves were then sent through the EEG to a computer, which analyzed the brain waves and mapped them to a control output, much like a robot does.
International researchers have taken the technology a step further. They've introduced another person at the other end of the EEG process, creating a brain-to-brain interface.
This enabled researchers to test idea of telepathic communication.
The experiment (beginning from India and ending in France) saw the conversion of simple words like "ciao" and "hola" into binary language. This data was sent to another computer that decoded it.
Binary signals were then sent to the receiver's brain through a non-invasive electrical stimulation that appeared as a flash of light in the corner of their eyes.
It was a success.
A similar experiment from Spain to France yielded results that had an error rate of 15 percent. Five of the errors came from the process of encoding and the remainder from the decoding.
EEG has long been used for a variety of impressive feats. Earlier this year, EEG was used in conjunction with Google Glass to fly an airplane, and to even control an arm.
The possibilities seem endless and fantastic.
Chief among these current possibilities is the first ever telepathic communication between human brains.
Researchers posit that with the way people are dependent on computers, it's only a matter of time until people will begin to depend on smooth and easy telepathic communication mediated by computers.
