Charlie Sheen is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) after criminal charges were filed against him.
A call on March 31 at 7:45 a.m. prompted the LAPD to conduct a criminal investigation in the Van Nuys, California area. The police's threat management division is conducting an investigation regarding harassment or stalking in the area, according to People magazine.

"Charlie Sheen is listed as a suspect in this investigation," a spokesman for the police department said. However, no information about the victim has been released since the investigation is still ongoing.
While the police have not identified the victim, tabloids believe that it is Sheen's ex-fiancé Scottine Ross, an ex-porn star also known as Brett Rossi. Ross has accused the comedian of allegedly threatening her.
Rossi sued Sheen last year, accusing him of concealing the fact that he is HIV positive while they were still together. The former couple were engaged from November 2013 to October 2014, but the 26-year-old former pornstar claims that 50-year-old Sheen threatened her life. She also revealed that Sheen wanted to kill people he was angry with.
Rossi told People during an interview in December 2015 that she was afraid for her life because he believes Sheen wants to kill her, too.
Sheen, however, vehemently denied all the allegations against him.
"Charlie Sheen intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit filed by Brett Rossi aka Scottine Ross. Numerous witnesses will dispute each and every claim made by Ms. Rossi," Martin D. Singer, Sheen's legal counsel said in a statement after the lawsuit was filed. "We are confident that Mr. Sheen will prevail in this action and also will recover significant damages against her in connection with a pending arbitration that was commenced months ago," Rossi continued.
