Congratulations are in order for Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman, who are proud parents of a baby boy.

The little bundle of joy named Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman is their first child together and was born on March 24 in Los Angeles, Hathaway's rep confirmed.

"The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A.," a source told E!. "Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents."

Reports about the Interstellar actress' pregnancy first surfaced in September after the 33-year-old sported a tiny baby bump at the London premiere of The Intern and showed off her growing bump during an outing with Shulman in Beverly Hills two months later.

The couple has since remained tight-lipped about their firstborn, but in January,Hathaway took to Instagram to give fans a peek at her baby belly.

"So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me," she captioned a picture of herself in a red bikini. "But just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :)"

A month later, the actress showed off her baby bump in an Instagram post before the 88th Academy Awards and then again on the red carpet of the Vanity Fair Oscars Party that followed the ceremony.

Hathaway and her actor/producer beau started dating in 2008 after being introduced by a common friend. The lovebirds tied the knot four years later in a private ceremony in Big Sur surrounded by friends and family.
